Student Financial Assistance

American Beauty Academy has been approved by the U.S. Department of Education to provide financial assistance to those who qualify. These requirements for Financial Assistance are applicable to BOTH our cosmetology AND BARBERING courses. (American Beauty Academy is accredited by the National Accrediting Commission of Cosmetology Arts and Sciences and is affiliated with numerous other associations.)

     

All information provided to us will be held in the strictest confidence. American Beauty Academy also offers private funding sources to fulfill your educational needs.

Admission Requirements

All applicants must be at least 16 years old. To participate in state and/or federal funding, applicant must be a high school graduate or have the equivalency (G.E.D.). If applicant has not completed either of the above mentioned requirements, they must take an Ability to Benefit Assessment test to determine the applicant's ability to benefit from the offered programs. All applicants must have a personal interview with an American Beauty Academy Admissions Counselor and successfully complete a Confidential Personal Career Evaluation.
